Box

Box, a cloud content management company in San Francisco, appears in source notes dated October 2025, March 2026 and April 2026, occupying a different position each time.

On 16 October 2025, Anthropic presented Agent Skills with Box among its named customers. Yashodha Bhavnani, Head of AI at Box, described stored files being turned into presentations, spreadsheets and Word documents that follow organizational standards, saving many hours. Box is the client in that story.

On 7 March 2026, Aaron Levie, CEO of Box, published "Building for trillions of agents" and spoke from the other side of the transaction. His argument: agents have become the primary users of software, each employee will run many of them, and a company will hold 100 to 1000 times more agents than people. Adapting Paul Graham, he proposes "Make something agents want". Anything without an API does not exist for an agent. CLIs and MCP servers become mandatory. Per-seat pricing breaks once an agent compresses hours of work into a few lines of text. In the infrastructure map closing the essay, Levie assigns Box the file-handling slot, a systeme de fichiers pour agents sitting next to sandboxes, agent identity and payments.

The third appearance is one sentence. Florian Dèbes builds his 22 April 2026 Les Echos report around Levie's line, quoted from the New York Times: "La Silicon Valley est en ce moment une véritable boîte de Petri." That same report counts 14% of employees overwhelmed by the pace, citing a BCG/Harvard Business Review study. Levie names the experiment; the fatigue lands on its subjects.
