Capgemini
Capgemini — Organization. 2028 ambition: Annual growth of 5,5-7,5 % at constant exchange rates, rising profitability and cash · claimed delivery gains: +30 % application development speed, −20 % incidents and outages · AI investment: 2 Md€ committed three years ago: offerings, partner ecosystem, training · AI positioning: Sector expertise + end-to-end technology + operational process management + ecosystem · sector: Digital services, consulting and transformation (listed French group) · Q1 2026 commercial traction: Generative + agentic AI > 11 % of order intake (vs 6 % a year before)
Two billion euros, committed three years ago across the offer portfolio, the partner ecosystem and staff training, is the figure Aiman Ezzat puts forward when asked what Capgemini has done about AI. Interviewed in the 25 July 2026 "spécial patrons" issue of Investir, the chief executive argues that the value of AI comes from integrating it into the core of operations. That thesis puts the systems integrator at the centre of the game, and Ezzat says so directly: the question is no longer who builds the best models, but who helps companies exploit them.
The proof he offers is delivery-side. On some projects, more than 30% faster application development depending on the type of application, and close to 20% fewer incidents and service interruptions. Commercially, generative and agentic AI passed 11% of bookings in the first quarter of 2026, against 6% a year earlier. The stated ambition for 2028 is 5.5% to 7.5% annual growth at constant exchange rates, with profitability and cash improving.
He is equally blunt about what blocks it: complex legacy systems, immature data, governance, security, cost. "Nous sommes très loin du plug and play." Deploying thousands of agents across an enterprise without clear rules on roles, security and responsibility would be a dead end.
Capgemini also appears as a buyer of capacity, sitting with Amadeus, ASML and CMA CGM in the coalition whose multi-year commitments are meant to fund 200 MW by end 2027 and 1 GW by end 2030 for Mistral AI. The acquisition of WNS is presented as the other growth pillar.
